Not because of the opponent or because of what was on the line, but because I’ve been wondering in the back of my mind when the Kentucky Football team that I’ve come to know over the years would return. Unfortunately, when the stage was biggest this season, that game came today.
The defense never seemed to be in the game and the Georgia Bulldogs had their way on offense. After Josh Allen forced two fumbles (his first two career fumble recoveries) in the first half to save scoring drives by Georgia, the Wildcats defense didn’t seem to have much fight in the second half.
