u25ba IN THE RANKINGS: Kentucky currently boasts a consensus top-30 class according to the four major recruiting services, but Rivals.com is highest of the group with a No. 21 ranking nationally. Scout.com is the most conservative at No. 30. 247Sports ranks the Cats 23rd, and ESPN ranks them 28th. The 247Sports Composite, which averages the major recruiting services’ ratings, slots UK at No. 27.
u25ba WHY YOU SHOULD LIKE THIS CLASS: Before the season Mark Stoops told the Courier-Journal a scholarship crunch might mean the 2017 class would end up as small as 16 players, but as Stoops and company rallied to reach a bowl game last fall the class continued to grow and now is poised to reach the full 25-man limit.
