Oh, what a difference a week makes.
Less than seven days ago, we were all wondering if Kentucky would ever win another basketball game, wondering where it all went wrong, digging through the archives, talking whimsically of the Basil Hayden era in Lexington (or as we called it a week ago, “the good old days.”).
Fast forward just a few days, and all is right again. Some adjustments have been made, roles have been altered, egos have been checked (including John Calipari’s) and now the Wildcats have won back-to-back games.
Still, while beating Mississippi State and Vanderbilt is nice, to get back to where Kentucky wants to be (hopefully in the NCAA Tournament conversation by the end of the year), the Wildcats are going to need to get even better.
