After a sluggish first half, Kentucky football freshman Barion Brown injected some much-needed energy into the Wildcats at the start of the third quarter Saturday night against Miami (Ohio) — and made UK history in the process.
With Kentucky leading the RedHawks just 13-10 at the intermission, Brown returned the opening kickoff of the second half 100 yards for a touchdown. Brown's electrifying run was the first kickoff return touchdown of the Mark Stoops era and UK's first in nearly 13 years.
