The heat is on in Texas and I’m not talking about scorching summer temperatures in the Lone Star State. Jimbo Fisher is in win-now mode in College Station after a lackluster and underwhelming 5-7 season a year ago.
There’s no other way to put it, Texas A&M underachieved and was not a good football team in 2022. The Aggies had many problems. A historic signing day class didn’t pop. Fisher’s offense was antiquated, predictable, and mostly stagnant. A&M averaged a lowly 22.8 points per outing, which was good, or bad enough to finish 100th in the nation.
