LEXINGTON - The Southeastern Conference has canceled the rest of its 2020 spring sports season as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The league had previously suspended all athletic activity through April 15 and the NCAA had already canceled all its spring championship tournaments. The SEC's decision cancel sporting events for the rest of the semester follows several other conferences taking the same steps, including the ACC.
