Despite coming off of a historically bad 9-16 season, the Kentucky Wildcats were picked by the media as the favorite to win the SEC. They also have earned the #1 spot in KSR’s weekly SEC Basketball Power Rankings. Sahvir Wheeler led the conference in assists last season.
