Ole Miss enters this afternoon’s game at 13-11, 4-7 in the Southeastern Conference. After starting conference play with five consecutive losses, the Rebels have now won three straight in Oxford over South Carolina, Florida, and Mississippi State. A big reason for their winning steak has been some outstanding play from Senior Guard Breein Tyree. Over the course of their three wins, Tyree has scored a total of 101 points (38 against the Gamecocks, 23 against the Gators, and 40 against the Bulldogs). However, their defense deserves a shoutout for their improved play as well. The Rebels have held Florida and Mississippi State to 51 & 58 points respectively in the last two games.
