The coach of Kentucky’s rival is reportedly interviewing for a job at an SEC divisional rival.
Tuesday night Josh Kendall from The Athletic reported that South Carolina will interview two coaching candidates after the Thanksgiving holiday: Oklahoma assistant coach Shane Beamer (the son of former Va. Tech head coach Frank Beamer) and Louisville head coach Scott Satterfield. Kendall stated that Carolina has already met face-to-face with Coastal Carolina head coach Jamey Chadwell.
As expected, Louisville athletic director Vince Tyra was quick to dismiss the report. He responded to the Courier-Journal in a text message: “He’s coming out with a statement later.
