Scott Satterfield is the gift that keeps on giving. His predecessor, Bobby Petrino, was verbally crucified by Louisville media for neglecting to recruit local high school stars. When Satterfield arrived on UofL’s campus, he vowed to change that immediately.
“The closed doors are no longer,” Satterfield said.
Well, the doors were open once.
“He has been in our building one time, his first year. We have not seen him since,” said one Central Kentucky high school football coach.
That high school football coach was one of nine who anonymously spoke to Kyle Tucker in The Athletic’s ongoing “recruiting confidential” series.
