The man who did his best to ruin Wan’Dale Robinson’s career by making him a between-the-tackles running back has been fired at Nebraska.
Scott Frost, in his fifth season as the head coach of the Cornhuskers, is out after leading his team to a 1-2 start in 2022. His most recent embarrassment? A 45-42 home loss to Georgia Southern.
Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts announced the news Sunday.
“Scott has poured his heart and soul into the Nebraska football program both as a quarterback and head coach, and I appreciate his work and dedication,” Alberts said.
