Brooks met with the media this morning after the Wizards shoot around and shared his impression of BBM, “That was ridiculous. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was incredible. I want a do-over.”
Brooks did not expect the atmosphere that the BBN delivered, “I thought, you know, maybe a couple thousand people, but we were here early and it was sold out.” Brooks also noted the impact BBM has on recruits, “They get good players because of this. You come here as a recruit, how do you say no?”
The first year Head Coach of the Wizards did not waste an opportunity to praise his star point guard, “John has been terrific.
