A day after losing a quarterback, the Kentucky football team has lost a running back. Redshirt freshman Bryant Koback announced on Twitter that he is leaving UK, “due to some unforeseen circumstances with my family.”
A three-star prospect in the 2017 recruiting class from Springfield, Ohio, Koback enrolled early last spring to rehab a leg injury. Eddie Gran said he showed promise on the practice field when he was able to return to action late in the season.
Following Koback’s surprise announcement, the running back room is down to three for spring practice: Benny Snell, Sihiem King and A.
