LEXINGTON - Kentucky football's backfield looks stacked again for 2020.
Running back A.J. Rose, who started all 13 games for Kentucky in 2019, announced on Twitter Thursday he will return to school for the 2020 season. Rose had been the subject of transfer rumors earlier in the day and had apparently been considering starting his professional career.
"Many of you have asked what I'm doing next season, and although playing in the NFL has always been my dream, I have decided to return for my senior year and help my brothers compete for the East and a SEC championship," Rose wrote in a note posted to Twitter.
