Kentucky freshman Rob Dillingham was named AP national player of the week this afternoon.
Dillingham put in big numbers for the Wildcats in losses to Florida and Tennessee. He dropped 35 points on the Volunteers.

The 6-foot-3 freshman guard from Hickory, North Carolina, had two strong performances last week even as the 17th-ranked Wildcats lost twice. The Southeastern Conference’s freshman of the week first had 20 points, four rebounds and four assists in an overtime loss to Florida.
