LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky football’s 2017 season was rarely boring.

But almost as often as Mark Stoops’ players were making headlines for heartbreaking losses or thrilling victories, the Wildcats were drawing attention for their online interactions.

“Anybody can say whatever the heck they want, obviously,” Stoops told reporters with a laugh after one incident. “Look at you guys. Anybody can say anything. Just whatever. It’s what the world is, right?”

Assistant coach Lamar Thomas threw his “L’s down” as an apparent jab at rival and former employer Louisville in a photo posted at a charity event.
