Rick Barnes has coached his Tennessee team against 26 different opponents this season.
The Vols coach believes two of those 26 are a cut above the rest of Tennessee’s opponents – and the rest of college basketball.
“I think Kentucky is the most underrated, underappreciated team in the country right now,” Barnes said. “I think them, along with Kansas, are the two best teams in the country.”
Tennessee (16-13, 8-8 SEC) faces the No. 6 Wildcats (24-5, 14-2) on Tuesday (9 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Rupp Arena in the back half of the annual two meetings.
