Sophomore Nick Richards finished with seven points, 15 rebounds and three blocks against Arkansas Tuesday night, but his impressive stat line isn’t indicitive of how hard it was for the forward to get things going at the start of the game. For the second game in a row, EJ Montgomery started in place of Reid Travis, but Richards came in less than five minutes later.
Richards finished the first half with seven rebounds and three points (1-1 from the floor and 1-2 from the free-throw line). These stats, surprisingly enough, placed him as the team’s third-highest scorer and the leading rebounder.
