The Kentucky Wildcats are moving on to the SEC Tournament’ quarterfinal round after beating the Florida Gators in Thursday’s action, 71-62.
Junior guard Rhyne Howard racked up 27 points (10/15 shooting), six rebounds and four assists as the 17th-ranked Cats came from behind in the fourth quarter to beat Florida. Howard also drew a game-high nine fouls and hit all five of her free-throw attempts.
Senior forward KeKe McKinney had 10 points, eight rebounds and two assists for the Cats, while freshman guard Treasure Hunt chipped in nine points, seven boards and four dimes.
