It doesn’t matter which country she’s playing in, Rhyne Howard is going to put on a show.
The former Kentucky Wildcats’ most recent major accomplishment came on Saturday with her European club, Famila Wuber Schio, where she helped power her squad to the franchise’s 14th Italian Cup (Coppa Italia) victory and third in a row. Howard finished the game with 20 points, including five consecutive made triples in the second quarter alone, during a 73-62 win over Umana Reyer Venice, earning MVP of the eight-team tournament in the process.
Howard’s squad won three games over the course of three days to lock up another Italian Cup title.
