Kentucky is expected to hire two assistants to complete its coaching staff in the near future, multiple outlets reported Thursday.
North Texas defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc likely will fill the same position with the Wildcats, while Charlotte assistant head coach and tight ends coach Dean Hood will serve as outside linebackers coach and specials team coach.
LeBlanc spent last season at North Texas after previous coaching stints with Southern Miss, Wyoming and LSU, among others.
Hood was at Charlotte in 2016 after eight seasons as coach at Eastern Kentucky from 2008-15.
