LEXINGTON -- Former Kentucky basketball guard Terrence Clarke died Thursday in a car accident in Los Angeles, according to multiple reports.
Clarke was 19 years old.
According to a report from WKYT-TV in Lexington, Clarke was driving when he ran a red light and hit a car turning left. Clarke was not wearing his seatbelt properly.
An Los Angeles Police Department spokesman confirmed to The Courier Journal there was one fatality resulting from a two-car collision at Winnetka Avenue around 2 p.m. pacific time, but the department could not confirm the identity of anyone involved in the collision.
