Kentucky basketball’s highly-anticipated trip to London is now expected to be pushed back.
After initial optimism surrounding the event, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe is now reporting that the London Showcase is now expected to be pushed back to Dec. 2022.
“The Naismith Memorial [Hall] of Fame will announce this week the Kentucky-Michigan game, set for Dec. 6 for the O2 Arena in London, will be pushed back to Dec. 2022,” Washburn said.
Back in March, Basketball Hall of Fame President & CEO John Doleva announced that the London Showcase at The O2 was still expected to be played on time, with the Wildcats and Wolverines originally scheduled to participate in a doubleheader also featuring Marist vs.
