LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky football could be in the market for a new defensive coordinator soon.

ESPN reporter Field Yates tweeted Friday morning the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to hire UK defensive coordinator Matt House as their new linebackers coach. A source with knowledge of the negotiations told the Courier Journal that move has not been finalized and there is still a chance House stays in Lexington, but UK coach Mark Stoops acknowledged in a news conference Wednesday he had fielded an inquiry from a NFL team about one of his assistants.
