LEXINGTON, Ky. — Immanuel Quickley's sophomore breakout has pointed him toward the NBA.
Quickley, who became on of Calipari's best examples of player development this season, plans to enter the NBA draft an end his college career, according to a report from 247Sports.
NCAA rules allow for college players to enter the draft, workout for teams and even sign with a list of approved agents and still return to school within 10 days of the end of the NBA scouting combine (currently June 3), but with the coronavirus pandemic shutting down predraft workouts and possibly the combine, the normal process of "testing the waters" has been thrown into flux.
