LEXINGTON - Ashton Hagans did not hear his name called in the 2020 NBA draft Wednesday, but he has reportedly already found a professional home.
The Kentucky point guard signed a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves shortly after the completion of the two-round draft, according to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic. A two-way contract would see Hagans spend the bulk of the upcoming season in the NBA's G League but would allow him to be placed on the Timberwolves' NBA roster as well.
