Reid Travis is officially a member of the 2018-19 Kentucky Basketball team, but he’s not able to practice just yet.
According to Ben Roberts of the Lexington Herald-Leader, Travis is still waiting to be officially admitted into UK’s graduate school program before he can be involved with any skill instruction. He’s still able to do other team-related activities, but he can’t practice until he’s admitted into the graduate program.
It sounds like it won’t be anything to worry about and Travis should be practicing very soon. With him unable to practice, along with PJ Washington still sidelined while recovering from finger surgery, that’s led to EJ Montgomery getting a lot more run in practice, and he’s been impressing thus far.
