Reid Travis’ advice in the final timeouts: “Calm Down”

I just said, calm down. I think we were pressing a little bit and just really getting antsy. Everyone meant well, but I was just saying, calm down. We’ve got a lot of time left. Just get our composure. We’ve been in games like this before. Just a little thought, we blew a lead and we were getting a little frazzled down the stretch. Everyone calmed down. We were able to make some free throws and make some big shots. That’s all I was trying to tell them.”

It worked. PJ Washington and Tyler Herro came through in the clutch, pulling Kentucky within one game of the Final Four.
