Being a football coach in the SEC is a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately business.
Just look at the 2021 season: LSU fired Ed Orgeron not even two years after he led the Tigers to a national championship, and Florida fired Dan Mullen one year after the Gators won the SEC East.
That makes 14 SEC coaches fired in the past five seasons. Every school has fired at least one coach during that span except for Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky.
Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas each fired two coaches during that span of five seasons.
