Since the 1970s, men's basketball programs at Indiana, Kentucky and Louisville have won a total of 10 national championships.
Let's take a look back at those top tourney teams of the past 50 years, during which the NCAA bracket included at least 32 teams. These rankings are based on a number of factors, such as overall record and national polls during the regular season and dominance in the NCAA Tournament.
Not included here: Kentucky had national championship teams in 1947-48, 1948-49, 1950-51 and 1957-58, while Indiana boasted titles in 1939-40 and 1952-53.
