Former Kentucky star Rajon Rondo is apparently preparing to start his coaching career with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Rondo says Bucks coach Doc Rivers told him to get to training camp way back in June. This week, Rondo is with the Bucks at camp at UC Irvine.
Rivers confirmed that this isn’t the last we’ll see of Rondo this season.
“You’ll see him a lot,” Rivers told ESPN. “That’s all I’ll say.”
Here is an excerpt from ESPN:
“Get your ass to camp,” Rivers told Rondo, as Rondo recalled to ESPN on Thursday.
With that, Rondo has spent the week with the Bucks as a guest coach for their training camp at UC Irvine, and Rivers told ESPN that Rondo will remain with the team in an unspecified capacity this season.
