5-star point guard Quentin Grimes (2018) will be in Lexington on his official visit this weekend. The Texas native was offered a scholarship by Coach Calipari back in March, but Kentucky has really only started to gain traction with Grimes in the last month.
“I think Kentucky has certainly made up a lot of ground with him and are more in the mix than I think I initially realized,” Evan Daniels of Scout.com told the Herald-Leader. “Now, I’m not calling them the favorite, but they certainly have a shot. The visits will factor in heavily, as I think all four schools involved have a shot.
