The 53-man roster cut deadline continues to be brutal for fringe Wildcats in the NFL. On the same day Justin Rigg was waived by the Tennessee Titans, former Kentucky defensive back Quandre Mosely was also released by the New England Patriots.
Mosely was one of 11 players cut by the Patriots on Sunday, the former Wildcat joining defensive lineman Carl Davis Jr., linebacker Diego Fagot, defensive back Brad Hawkins Jr., tight end Johnny Lumpkin, running back C.J. Marable, defensive back Rodney Randle Jr., defensive lineman Justus Tavai, offensive lineman Micah Vanterpool, tight end Scotty Washington and linebacker Carson Wells.
