The incoming Kentucky Wildcats have been balling out on the all-star circuit.
The latest was P.J. Washington, who took home MVP honors at the Allen Iverson Roundball Classic on Friday night in Portsmouth, Virginia. He did so by scoring a game-high 37 points for Team Honor, which defeated Team Loyalty 198-152.
“It was great to show our talents in front of Allen (Iverson), to show we can play at the next level, and I think he believes we can do it,” Washington told The Daily Press.
Fellow Wildcat signee Quade Green poured in 32 points for Team Loyalty.
