Jemal Singleton won his first press conference at the University of Kentucky today. The new running backs and special teams coach for Mark Stoops’ football program, Singleton made his first appearance on the job earlier this afternoon, and the new guy really seems to love Kentucky.
Already a Kentucky resident, living across the river from his former employer, the Cincinnati Bengals, Singleton called his upcoming transition to Lexington, “the easiest move I’ll ever make,” having already moved around the globe throughout his lifetime.
“I was born in Turkey, my mother was British, I lived in England for about 10 years, lived in Germany, spent some time in Italy, lived in Texas, bounced around a bunch of places and Kentucky hit us,” Singleton, a military brat, said Thursday.
