Kentucky needs a big man for next season. Enter Purdue’s Matt Haarms, a 7’3″ center from Amsterdam that just entered the transfer portal.
Last season, Haarms averaged 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 52.4% from the field, 31.3% from three, and 63.4% from the free throw line. In three seasons at Purdue, he had 210 blocks, the fourth most in Boilermaker history. According to ESPN, he is considered a grad transfer and will be eligible immediately.
