The only other time in history that the Kentucky Wildcats and the Valparaiso Crusaders have faced off was back in the 2002 NCAA Tournament. The Cats took home the win against the Crusaders in the first round of the tourney that year, by the score of 83-68 behind 21 points and 6 rebounds from Keith Bogans, as well as 13 points and 5 rebounds from Tayshaun Prince.
Tonight, Kentucky looks to bounce back from a rare loss in Rupp Arena at the hands of UCLA. Some of you may be overlooking Valparaiso because they aren’t one of the stereotypical Power 5 Conference foes that could hand an out of conference loss to the Cats.
