Kentucky football’s 26-16 win over the Florida Gators on Saturday was special for a multitude of reasons.
Most importantly, it proved to the nation that the Wildcats are a legitimate threat in the Southeastern Conference. In the process, Mark Stoops claimed his 61st victory as the Kentucky head coach, passing Paul “Bear” Bryant for most in program history. The defense looked incredible, the offensive line showed out in the second half, and Will Levis looked the part of a future high-round NFL Draft pick.
But that wasn’t all that happened last night in The Swamp.
