The Kentucky Wildcats traveled to Fayetteville today to play the Arkansas Razorbacks for the second matchup of the season.
The first matchup left little if any hope Kentucky could win this one, as the Hogs went into Rupp Arena and manhandled the Cats en route to an 88-73 win on February 7th.
And that was when Arkansas didn’t have star freshman Nick Smith, a likely top-10 pick in this year’s NBA Draft. Smith played today and shined, recording 25 points, six assists, and four steals.
Making matters worse for the Cats was starting point guard Cason Wallace sat out with a leg injury.
