After winning seven games last year and beating Louisville, Kentucky football certainly seems to be on the up-and-up.
They also had a ton of weaknesses that never really became strengths, and to this day, we’re uncertain about what we’ll see in these aspects. Their surefire starting quarterback got benched due to injury and lost his spot, they finished last in the SEC in turnover margin, and they had to rely almost 100 percent on the running game to win.
Oh, and they also had what Lee Corso called the worst defense in football history, though it made dramatic improvements as the season wore on.
