JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Kentucky star sophomore forward PJ Washington will not play in the Wildcats' NCAA Tournament second-round game versus Wofford.
Washington will miss his second straight game with a sprained left foot. As Washington's teammates warmed up before the game, he sat on the UK bench still wearing a hard cast on his left foot.
Kentucky announced earlier this week Washington injured his foot in the SEC Tournament loss to Tennessee – though the injury was not immediately apparent at the time or at UK's Selection Sunday watch party the next day – and the he was wearing a walking boot as a precautionary measure.
