PJ Washington expected to be ready to play in Bahamas tour after surgery

UNION, Ky. — Kentucky sophomore forward PJ Washington is expected to be sidelined for close to a month after undergoing surgery to fix a detached tendon in his left pinky finger this week.

"Good time to do it," UK coach John Calipari said Thursday while speaking during a satellite camp at Ryle High School. "Do it right away. Take him four or five weeks to get it all healed, but he’ll be fine.
