According to the SEC’s release, Flagg averaged 20 points and nine rebounds in Texas A&M’s wins over Alabama and Arkansas. Washington, my pick for the award, averaged 21 points and seven rebounds while hitting seven of his 12 three-point tries in wins over Missouri and Auburn. Washington went 16-26 from the field; Flagg went 13-25 (not that I’m counting). This should’ve been a Co-Player of the Week situation.
