Kentucky cruised past Charlotte Saturday on a frigid night at Commonwealth Stadium. With wind chills plummeting into the 20’s and sleet and snow falling at times, the Cats’ offense was anything but cold. Jojo Kemp scored three touchdowns and Boom Williams ran for two, leading Kentucky to 544 yards.
Redshirt freshman Drew Barker added 129 yards passing in his first career start. The defense did its part, holding Charlotte to 233 yards, recording four sacks and forcing three turnovers.
The Cats need just one win to be bowl eligible. Kentucky faces rival Louisville in the season finale.
