Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White put a smile on his face when stepped on the field for Kentucky’s first spring practice and took a look at the Wildcats’ defensive line.
“It was funny. The first day on Tuesday we looked out there and it was like, well that’s a good looking front. You have Josh and Q and Phil in there. It doesn’t look like we’re missing a beat,” he said. “The shapes are a little bit different but it’s kind of like having T.J. and Calvin in there.”
T.J. Carter, Calvin Taylor Jr. and Jordan Griffin are the only significant departures from UK’s 2019 defense.
