Peter Burns issued a public apology to Benjamin Watson last night over an on-air joke about Watson’s wife that didn’t go over well.
Watson accepted the apology and the two seemed to move forward from the incident, which ESPN tried to explain was just a bit.
It clearly wasn’t a bit, but here’s the apology and Watson’s reply:
