Penn State fires a coach after losing to Kentucky in Citrus Bowl

In what ended up being one of the more entertaining bowl games of the season yesterday, Penn State came out on the losing end, as the Kentucky Wildcats won a 27-24 thriller for win No. 10 of the season.

The Wildcats defense balled out, while Benny Snell carried the offense and Lynn Bowden scored on a punt return touchdown.

There were a lot of things that went wrong for Penn State, but apparently, their wide receiver play just wasn’t meeting the mark.

Today, Penn State decided to let go of wide receivers coach David Corley after an unimpressive first season with the Nittany Lions.
