Gavin Wimsatt will suit up for Rutgers THIS SEASON.
According to KSR’s Matt Jones, Wimsatt, who is a four-star quarterback out of the class of 2022 from Owensboro High School (KY), has decided to leave the program in order to enroll early at Rutgers. He is expected to sign a six-figure name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal as a member of the Scarlet Knights.
Wimsatt will be eligible to play in the 2021 season. GoMyTeamPodcast was first to break the news.
Gavin Wimsatt is ranked as the no. 1 player in the state of Kentucky by 247 Sports and chose Rutgers over Kentucky back in April.
