Overtime, the company behind many of the highlight reels of Kentucky recruits you’ve watched over the years, is starting its own semi-professional basketball league.
According to 247 Sports, the Overtime Select league will be another path for high school stars to get to the pros, allowing them to bypass college while earning salaries up to six figures. The circuit will include up to eight teams and players will receive training and coaching from former NBA players, coaches, and trainers, along with non-traditional education.
