The list of postseason honors continues to grow for Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebwe. For the second day in a row he’s been named a Second Team All-American.
Wednesday’s honor comes from the National Association by Basketball Coaches (NABC). It’s the second straight year he’s been named an NABC All-American, the first Wildcat to achieve that accomplishment in consecutive seasons since Tayshaun Prince in 2001 and 2002.
Oscar Tshiebwe is Kentucky’s leading scorer (16.5) and for the second straight season, he’s the nation’s top rebounder (13.1). This year he became the first Wildcat to surpass 1,000 career points since 2012.
